The Good and Bad of Providing a Free Breakfast at Motels?

Providing a complimentary breakfast has many positives for motels and hotels. It makes their guests feel more at home and hopefully good feelings when they leave with a full stomach. It is an extra perk for staying there. It is also a place where the establishment can promote all their services and promotions.

The downside is if the guests aren’t wowed by what is offered. Maybe, the expectations are higher than what is provided, and it becomes a negative for the guests. There is also a lot of extra work to put it up every morning and clean up afterwards.

Do People Care If They Get a Free Breakfast?

Considering how many people rate their experience online based on the continental breakfast, it is obviously important to man travelers. You can even do a search on travel sites based on what places provide the breakfast.

So, who gets the best reviews in our area. If you have friends or family coming to town, where should you recommend? I did some extensive research which involved poking around the internet and reading reviews, and there is one place that is number one or in the top three every time.

The best breakfast in St. George is the Best Wester Abbey Inn. I have had this breakfast, and I think it is a notch better. I liked where they served it, and when I was there, they had friendly staff on hand helping load up plates and make sure everything looked good.
