A new restaurant brings a different experience to dining to St. George. The Galbi Grill has opened on Red Cliffs Dr at the end parking lot of the mall. It offers an all you can eat sit down meal where you can make sure the meat is done to your liking.

One Price for All the Meat You Can Eat Brought to You Ready to Cook

On the sign it says Korean BBQ and Hot Pot and I’ll admit I wasn’t familiar with what this meant. If you are like me and haven’t experienced this kind of set up, the grill is in the middle of your table. There are also burners on the table if you get the pot.

It’s pretty simple. You pay $35 for all you can eat ($25 for lunch on weekdays). You select the meat from the menu you would like, and the waiter brings it to you uncooked on a plate. You can also order appetizers and other items.

Then you cook it yourself on a round grill in the middle of the table. I fried up some shrimp and prime beef brisket. It was delicious to eat it hot off the grill and dipped in the special sauces they provided.

The food was good and I enjoyed the experience. We had the Takoyaki and fried dumplings off the appetizers and that did come fully cooked. They were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle.

I did learn that the burner on the corner of the table is for a pot if you go that route. I turned it on and burned the metal plate. I may not be the most sophisticated food guy. I like this addition to our food options in St. George and a different version of the all-you-can-eat restaurant.
