This Excellent Restaurant In Leeds Will Make You Happy You Took the Drive

There is a lot of Mexican food available in Southern Utah, and you may think you have that food covered, but this restaurant in Leeds is serving up dishes that may make you reconsider. It is worth the drive to find out for yourself. 

Different Regions of Mexico Offer Unique Localized Dishes 

Casa Tequilana Mexican Cuisine sits near the freeway in Leeds. Their website describes where the dishes they serve come from:

I stopped by for dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the different tastes and combinations they offer. I had the Quesa-Birria that features beef inside a flour tortilla and served with a rich broth to dip it in. 

It was juicy and really added to the taste of the meat. There was also plenty of food as it also included fries with a blend of south of the border spices. 

Cheese Crusted Tacos Will Surprise You 

My wife had the Brisket Tacos, and they were really good. The shells were corn with cheese cooked on the inside. There was tender brisket with cabbage and a tangy green sauce on top that complimented everything. And once again, there was plenty of food. 

I have to make notes of the beans and rice. They were black refried beans with a good consistency. I mixed the beans and rice together and it was a treat in itself.

Casa Tequilana is a good addition to places serving yummy food in Southern Utah. Although there is a lot of Mexican food available here, their take on it is different. Also, the atmosphere and the servers were fun and helpful. It is well worth the drive.
