What This Simple Costco Time Change Is Doing For Utah
You can count on certain things in Southern Utah. Dry heat, sports teams visiting on the weekends, and a long line for gas at Costco. The last one has seen a change recently that will make a difference for those looking for that gas discount.
Extended Hours at the Pump Announced in March
At a recent earnings call for the company, Costco CEO Ron Vachris let people know they will be keeping the gas pumps open later to make it more convenient for their customers. This is from an article about the change.
Costco posted a list of its updated gas station hours on Facebook. The post states that gas stations are open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Sunday from 6 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
No Lines Early in the Morning and Later in the Evening
Extending the hours is a big help for Costco customers in Utah as you can pull right up to the pump in the earlier hours and the same when it get’s later. Having this extra time open will really benefit those looking for the gas discount.
Vachris also said during the call that it was possible they will extend the time the store will open as well. This could also be a big convenience to those wanting to avoid how full the store gets during peak times.
