This New Place Serving Up A Family Recipe Is Something You’ll Want to Show Off to Visitors
There is a new place to eat in St. George and it features biscuits that were handed down in a legacy of love. The Biscuit Fix is now open on Sunset Blvd. where Rigattis used to be. This is a Southern Utah location you will want to bring visitors to.
From Family Recipe to Food Truck: The Story Behind Biscuit Fix
On the wall of the Biscuit Fix they describe how Grandma Loydel made biscuits every day and that love turned into an idea, a tent at the farmers market, a food truck in the form of a bus and their current location.
It is no wonder the idea continued to grow. What they are serving up is delicious. I tried the Oh Good Gravy and my wife had the Wilbur. They were around $10 to $14 a piece which seemed a little much until I saw how much food you get.
A Unique Dining Experience: The Flavors That Elevate
There are two sets of biscuits stuffed with goodness. I found the biscuits delicious like they had just popped out of the oven. The gravy was thick with sausage and was a step above a good biscuit you get at a restaurant.
The Wilbur had candied bacon with a fried egg and cheddar cheese. What I didn't expect was the bussin' sauce that was slightly sweet and brought the whole thing together. It was tasty.
I am always a little late to the party and there are probably many in Southern Utah who already knew the quality product these folks have been putting out. For those of us just finding out, the Biscuit Fix is an awesome local creation.
