There's a unassuming place serving up sandwiches and information on bees that you may not be aware of unless you've been a long-time resident of Hurricane. Muddy Bees Bakery looks simple from the outside, but inside is a bee wonderland.
Tasty Treats and Local Honey Delights
This is one of those places the locals know about and you feel like you found a treasure when you discover it. Muddy Bees Bakery sells locally made honey and it comes in all kinds of flavors if you like.

I purchased the cinnamon and maple flavored and was sorely tempted to try the whipped huckleberry. But they don't just have honey, they have the whole hive. There is a beehive displayed in the store with bees crawling through a clear pipe to the roof.

Indulge in Sweet Bakery Goodies
It is an educational display and interesting to look at. There is also a bakery with all kinds of tasty treats including cinnamon rolls, pies, and breads. If you are looking for a delicious gluten free option, this is the place.

We bought a couple of sandwiches that were tasty and the price was very reasonable. You can build your own the way you want it. It starts at $5.99 and was worth it. My wife got the whole wheat while I had it on sourdough.
