Regional Medical Campus To Be Added to Utah Tech

Universities Adding and Expanding Medical Schools in Utah 

It has been big news that Brigham Young University has announced that they will be adding a medical school that will focus on international health issues. This school will work with Intermountain Healthcare and coordinate with the University of Utah and their medical school. 

Tucked into all this information was an announcement from the University of Utah about plans for a regional medical campus in St. George at Utah Tech University. They said students will have opportunities to get clinical training and that it would also work with Intermountain Health Care. 

University of Utah Offers Higher Degrees for Utah Tech Students. 

These aren’t the only opportunities for students in Southern Utah. There is a graduate center that offers master’s programs from the University of Utah on the Utah Tech campus. Higher degrees are taught through online learning. These are live classes where students can interact with the instructor. 

This can benefit Utah Tech students and also those who live in the area who want to continue their education. The classes can accommodate work schedules by being held in the evenings and on weekends.
