New Burger in St. George Will Make You Want to Stand Up
Liberty Cafe Offers Breakfast and Lunch
There is a tasty addition to the competition for best burger in Southern Utah. The new Liberty Cafe off Dixie Dr. In St. George offers breakfast and lunch. It opens at 7 AM and closes at 3 PM so plan accordingly.
My wife and I stopped by on Saturday and selected from their smash burgers on the menu. They were reasonably priced with $6.49 for a cheeseburger and $9.49 for the pastrami burger. We got it in a combo with fries and a drink and I got the onion rings.
It came to around $29 and they had the screen that gives you an option add an additional tip.
Where Does the Food Stack Up?
This is well worth the money. The bun is soft and delicious. The burger had all the fixings and was cooked perfectly. Very big and well put together. I had the pastrami burger, and it was a generous amount of it with fresh tomatoes and lettuce plus some grilled onions.
The fries are unique. Flat like steak fries, but thin almost like a chip and salted. The onion rings were excellent. The breading was soft and the onion inside had just the right texture. These burgers could make a run for the best in town in my opinion.
