You Should Go To This St. George Restaurant Just To Try Their Appetizer

Are there any restaurants where you go just because you one of their appetizers? I would visit the China Palace in St. George just to get more of their cream cheese wantons. This is a wonton wrapper filled with cream cheese.

A Comprehensive Dining Experience at China Palace

Do not get me wrong. There are plenty of reasons to eat at China Palace. I had the Triple Sizzling from the menu that had chicken, beef, and shrimp that they poured a sizzling sauce on at the table. It was very good.

I like the family dinner options where you can get some appetizers and different dishes that you can share. They offer menu items for two, three, or four people that makes it feel like you are having Sunday dinner with grandma.

Why These Wontons Stand Out

Having said that, these cream cheese wontons at China Palace are something special. For one thing they are bigger, about twice the size as the ones you usually see. Secondly, they taste handmade from scratch.

The wonton wrapper is soft and slightly chewy. They came out still warm and the cream cheese was perfect with the sweet sauce. I seriously could have just ordered the wontons and been happy.

I don't really understand the difference between a rangoon and a wonton like they serve, but I do know they are yummy. China Palace has tasty food all the way around and are well worth a visit even if you don't get this fabulous appetizer.
