Grilled Chicken, Bacon, and Mango Make a Pizza in Hurricane this Summer’s Vibe

There's some things that just hit right in summer. There's always a song, a vacation, and often a food that puts its mark on these lazy hot days. I'm nominating this pizza at Mountain Mike's as this year's summer food.

A Taste of Summer: Sweet & Spicy Aloha Sauce

The Zesty Aloha Pizza is available now and it is unexpectedly tasty. If you don't believe pineapple belongs on a pizza you don't have to worry, but how do you feel about Mango?

This has all the good meat you could want including grilled chicken, bacon, and slabs of ham. Then it get's a Hawaiian feel with chunks of mango interspersed with tomatoes and red onion.

This all blend deliciously with the sweet and spicy Aloha sauce. It really only has a hint of spicy, but it makes the pizza fill light even with all that meat. For me, it kind of nailed that summer vibe.

Nostalgic Dining: The Classic Pizza Parlor Experience

I like eating at Mountain Mike's anyway because it has that feel of the pizza parlor of the 80s and 90s. The pizza is good and the bred sticks and knots are a step above most places.

Maybe I'm wrong and you know a better food that you have found for the summer of 2026. If so, I would like to hear about it. I'm not getting anything from Mike's for sharing this. I just tried it and liked it.

I'm telling you though, if you are headed back from one of the lakes and you need to feed your crew, try the Zesty Aloha and see if it doesn't put the finishing touch on a great day.
