Cancer Research in Utah Making Significant Advances

The Huntsman Cancer Institute and the University of Utah Health have had some breakthroughs in treating cancer this year. One involves treatment for prostate cancer and the other breast cancer that has had positive results in survival rates. 

What they are learning right here in Utah is having a big impact on those suffering from this dreaded disease. You can help and be a part of the solution, and it is as simple as making a choice when you go register your car. 

Specialty Plates that are Making a Difference 

When you register a vehicle, you have to pick out some plates. There was a time when you only had one or two options. Now you can choose your favorite college or pro team, you can choose different styles including the all black plate. Or you can choose one that helps others. 

The state of Utah offers the cancer research plate. This comes with the Huntsman Cancer Institute logo on the left side. Part of the fee goes to help with fund research, and it also helps bring awareness by displaying the logo.
