Have you ever explored Google Street View just to see what is there? I have used the Google program to drop myself in Brazil or an island off Greece just to see what it would look like to drive down the street there. Apparently, I’m not the only one because there are a lot of people who discover weird random stuff on Street View.

One picture from a tiny town in Utah ignited the internet for a time. People were sure the Google camera had captured a deformed human in some sort of escape or possible an alien invasion. People were hunting for more details.

Commenters on TikTok called it “so scary” and “insane,” while a Reddit user called it “creepy.”

It was spotted in the small town of Bluff on the eastern part of the state. It is across from the Bears Ears Visitor Center in a small park with picnic tables. It is hard not to wonder if you are seeing something freaky, but it turns out it is just a sculpture.

According to those who looked into it further, they say the sculpture is kind of like a scarecrow. It is there to keep away wild animals and other unwanted guests. It works for me. I wouldn’t want to eat my lunch near this wobbly armed naked thing.

Something about the Street View camera and the skin tone of the sculpture does make you feel like you peered into a Stephen King novel. If I get to that part of the state, I plan on getting a picture with this thing in some sort of skin suit.
