Surprise! The Best Place To Live In Utah Is Where?
City in Cache Valley with Just over 2,000 Residents Named Best in Utah
Unless you have lived in northern Utah, you may not have heard of River Heights, but it is listed as one of the best places to live in America compiled by Niche. They looked at many factors such as schools, economy, nightlife, housing, and a whole lot more.
Not only is River Heights on this list, but an article from Stacker names it as the best place to live in the entire state of Utah. Get in line Park City. Take a number Mapleton. Wait a minute, I’ve never heard of River Heights.
Here’s the Facts on Utah’s Best Place to Live
River Heights is next to Logan with a population of 2,236 people. It got an A- for public schools. (I can’t imagine there are too many of these.) It is good for families and most people own their homes. There are also a lot of parks and natural spaces.
It did get a B- for nightlife. I would imagine you would have to find that next door at the Utah State campus unless they count all the critters that come out when the sun goes down on the Logan River. It also gets a B- for diversity which seems questionable.

It has 25 positive reviews and only one negative. This person gave it one star because they didn’t like how much snow it gets. Seems kind of unfair give it a bad rating as if it is the city’s fault. It’s not like they are in charge of the storm clouds.
So, there you go. Do you agree with this assessment? Is River Heights the best place to live in Utah? I for one am all in. Next time I’m in that part of the state, I plan on getting a River Heights T-Shirt.
