Build a Solid Contact List
Trust me, a good contact list is a game-changer. You never know when you'll need to pivot your plans, and having an up-to-date list will save you from a last-minute scramble. Our carpool group made sure everyone had each other's preferred contact info, so we could react quickly if something changed. It's a lifesaver.

Plan Ahead
Iron out the details before they become issues. Think about pickup locations, seating arrangements, and whether snacks are allowed in the car. Do you have a blanket "no eating" rule, or does it depend on the driver? Tackle these potential irritants beforehand. For us, a clear agreed-upon pickup time and delay tolerance was key.

Keep It Fair
No one wants to feel like they're doing all the work while others reap the benefits. Make sure everyone is pulling their weight and getting a fair deal. If one parent feels overburdened, they might be tempted to bow out, and that can derail the whole system.
