Chapter 7 Learning to Curse Installment 35
Years passed since the day Succubus had been slammed to the ground by his teacher Borgin. In that time, Succubus and his classmates grew taller, and their horns extended. Borgin had continued to teach them, and they had learned math, physics, chemistry and history, beginning with the most basic concepts and progressing to incredibly complex equations.
Learning to Curse Banned by Borgin
They had not learned about cursing and Borgin banned them from attempting anything of the sort in class. That didn’t stop Succubus and the others from trying out their power when left on their own.

Succubus found an empty corridor and stood with his feet apart and his hand up as he had seen older demons do when they cursed. He felt the air around him, trying to distinguish the random molecules. He willed the air forward, but all he could manage was a slight gust.
I could do as much just waving my arms around, he thought.
A Visit from the Older and Wiser
Just then, Succubus looked up to see a familiar form shuffling towards him. It was the demon Ansu carrying a sack of roots for delivery. Succubus had seen him many times over the years, and it always seemed as if the old demon would at any moment fall on his face dead.
“Practicing cursing I see,” said Ansu smiling.
“I don’t understand it,” said Succubus, hoping the old demon could shed light on the process. “I can only get the slightest movement of air.”
Ansu chuckled. “You will learn soon enough,” he said.
