$43 Million Summer Retreat for the King of Gondor Now for Sale in Utah
With a price tag of $43 million dollars, this Hobbit inspired house in Utah would be a stretch for even the richest Bagginses. It looks like something Elrond the Elf Lord would build rather than some humble halfling.
Mansion is Too Fancy for Most of Middle Earth
Your average hobbit would get lost in this 23,000 foot mansion sitting on South Fork Road in Provo, Utah. I'm not saying Merry and Pippen couldn't throw a pretty great party in the backyard featuring plenty of Longbottom Leaf to go around.

Even though it sits at the base of the Wasatch Mountains, it is too fancy for the horse lords. The wizards of middle earth could afford it, but they prefer heavy tower like architecture.
A Summer House Fit for the King of Gondor
This house would make sense for one of the Dunedin at least as a vacation retreat. I could see Aragorn passing a quiet evening with Legolas and Gimli as they reminisce about removing the heads of orcs.

However, this bridge over the private lake is what tells me this thing is built for some of the fair folk who haven't yet taken their trip to the undying lands. You can almost hear some weird elven tune drifting over the reflection in the water.
A Place for the Little Folk
Having said this, I do wish someone would make this a place for someone other than kings and lords. This could be a spot for epic family reunions. I would love to see someone buy this and make it a retreat for the not so wealthy.
That may be a bigger dream than brining peace between elves and dwarfs, but if a half ling can defeat Mordor, maybe there's a chance.
