New Harry Potter Ride: What Would Utah LIke to See?
Fans are buzzing with excitement over a new Harry Potter ride coming to Universal Orlando's Wizarding World, especially since it features the return of Dame Imelda Staunton as the notorious Dolores Umbridge. Set to debut in 2025 with the Epic Universe expansion, the ride, "Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry," takes guests through the Floo Passage to the British Ministry of Magic, where they will witness Umbridge's trial and explore various magical departments. Highlights include a stunning atrium with a restored Fountain of Magical Brethren and Umbridge's ornate office, complete with her former house elf, Higgledy.
This is all well and good, but what would Utahn's like to see in a new Harry Potter ride?
Since we are such a dry area, I think we would love to see the lake near the school grounds, have the Durmstrang ship rise out of the lake, or let visitors take a swim with magical Gillyweed gills.
Aunt Marge helium balloons at the park would celebrate Utah's war on obesity as it seems we have become obsessed with exercise, weight loss and overall good health.
Is there a state with more banks than Utah? Clearly we got to have a tour of Gringotts Bank. The ride part is easy, they are going to have to find a way to make your financial journey as exciting with line charts and retirement investing.

A Sirius Black genealogy quest would be a hit. He already has the family tree and to add fun of it Mrs. Black blasted some names off of tapestry. What would get us going more than hunting down those family members and restoring their connection with dates and memories like pictures?
