The nation's number 1 ski town is in our very own Utah. Now, before I reveal the #1 choice I can already hear some naysaying including in my own head. Because in the snow frolicking circles I have been a part of this resort, while a great resort, charming and fun, is hotly defended to not be the overall best Utah has to offer. However, to those of us who may balk at this result remember the contest is to the best ski town, not just the resort.

I had the chance to stay in this town last early spring and I was convinced, yet again that Park City really is a pretty cool town. Yes, I just gave it away. According to Travel and Leisure, the best of the snow playground towns in the United States is Park City.

The competition is pretty stiff too. Take a look at the list of top 14 ski towns in the nation.
