The word cult gets thrown around pretty easily these days. Many point their fingers at Utah as a home for cults, but this accusation is about to really come true in an unexpected way. It involves a beaver and the crowds coming to worship it.

Buc-ee’s is Building a Location in Utah

The Springville city council has approved land for this large retailer to build a location next to I-15. If you are picturing a convenience store with some gas pumps, think a lot bigger, like Walmart size bigger.

My first experience with this convenience store wonderland was in South Carolina. My son said we were stopping at Buc-ee’s and I was curious as I had heard people talking about the place. However, I was staying cool as I have seen gas stations before.

I can’t put it all into words, but it was fun and kind of inspiring. The brisket sandwich was delicious and the sweatshirt I bought was reasonably priced. You’ll just have to experience it for yourself.

Just let me say there is a reason grown adults walk through the aisles in beaver pajamas while loading up on t-shirts and stuffed animals. Sure, it’s a little cult like and frankly, I consider myself a member.
