Chick-fil-A Owns Studios, Utah Companies that Should Combine

I wrote a story about Chick-fil-A having studios in Georgia. These studios are cutting-edge and turning heads.

This video points out that even though Dan Cathy does have an art side it is an interesting combination to have Chick-fil-A connected to a studio. I think that is true, but what if you took two Utah companies and put them together?

Here is a list of Utah-based companies including what their business is in case it isn't clear. I have paired them with another Utah company that I think makes sense.

Extra Space Storage, Self Storage and Overstock.com, Retail

Go to Overstock.com get more than you can possibly fit in your house, or purchase a bunch of seasonal decorations, and the companion company provides you with a simple place to store it all.

Quest Aerospace, Model Rockets and Lagoon, Amusement Park

Use your skills at building and testing model rockets to improve the rides at the legend amusement park. Or you could go simple and just increase the risk of one of Lagoon's regular rides by shooting rockets at the passengers.

Revere Health, Health care and Desert Tech, Firearms

We all know gun safety is key in the world of Firearms, but just in case of an accident wouldn't it be comforting to know your gun store has a sister company that can take care of your health care needs?

Action Target, Shooting ranges and Browning Arms Company, Firearms

This one is just simple. They probably do business with each other already. I mean it's like bread and butter, right?

SkyWest Airlines, Airline and Altra Running, Running shoes

This one might be a bit of a stretch unless you have ever been late for your flight. Whether it be due to arriving late to the airport or because your transer was too tight a pair of running shoes could help you make it to the boarding party in time.

State Bank of Southern Utah, Banking and Utah American Energy, Mining

Sure most of us deposit cash but what if your cash haul is in raw materials from the earth? Wouldn't it be nice to have a bank on stand-by that is set up for you to deposit more than just cash?

I hope this inspires some Utah business owners to reach across the market aisle and see what magic they can make.
