Why People in Utah Are Getting Scam Messages At This Time of Day

Getting a text with a random message is becoming so common for most of us  in Utah that we don't even bother to block the number anymore. You may have noticed these scam texts are showing up at certain times every day and there is a reason why.

The Science Behind Timing: When Scammers Strike

Marketing companies are constantly testing the ads placed on social media for their effectiveness. This includes analyzing when those ads hit and what time they are most likely to get read.

The same is true for those who are trying to scam you out of your money. They have analyzed when people are less vigilant and therefore might click on something they normally wouldn't. Have you noticed more scam texts at certain times?
