Chapter 9 Falling Rocks Installment 51

They now sat dozing, Ghamegis making his whistling sound with his head propped by the wall, while Ipses lay with his flat head upward, his mouth loose with sleep and a small trickle of slobber coming from one side.

How Succubus Uses the Skill of Moving Rocks

Succubus willed the molecules again, lifting the fist-sized rock off the ground. He was pleased with his success at manipulating the stone as he slowly rotated it in the air.

Concentrating, he moved the rock forward so that it was a foot above Ipses’ head. He held it there for a moment, then let it drop. It smacked solidly on Ipses’ flat, upturned face and bounced to the ground. Succubus quickly turned to the side as if he were asleep just as Ipses sprang forward with a cry, rubbing his forehead.

He looked at the other sleeping demons. Ghamegis was closest to him, but he lay with his head against the wall, obviously deep in slumber. Ipses glared around the room looking for the source of his recent pain. Without any evidence, he lay back, massaging his forehead, and went back to sleep.

I finally understand how this works.
