Congratulations to Sydney, Australia. It has just been named the most relaxed city in the world. If there is a trophy to be awarded the organizers better be patient, it might take Sydney a while to get up and receive it.

This caused me to wonder what the most relaxed city in Utah would be. According to some it is Moab. From Zen to Frenzied this is a ranking of Utah cities by relaxation level.

Starting our chill with Moab, where the residents are so relaxed they might as well be part of the red rock formations. Moabites have perfected the art of leisurely sipping lattes while watching tourists attempt mountain biking for the first time.

Next up, St. George. The city basks in eternal sunshine, and its citizens have mastered the slow stroll. The biggest stressor here? Deciding which golf course to play on.

Moving north, Provo maintains a Zen-like calm despite housing a major university. Locals here find peace in their picturesque surroundings and the abundance of artisanal ice cream shops.

Then there's Park City. While it's a bustling ski town, the residents have a relaxed, laid-back vibe, possibly from all the après-ski hot tubs and the high-altitude tranquility.

Sliding down the scale, we hit Salt Lake City. The capital is a blend of relaxed and rushed, where serene temple views are juxtaposed with frantic downtown drivers late for a meeting.

Ogden marks the beginning of our tense tour. Its history as a railroad hub means people here are always on the go, possibly from lingering locomotive energy.

Approaching the peak of tension, Layton residents juggle the stress of having a silent "T" in their name and the proximity to Hill Air Force Base. The result? A community that knows the value of time but rarely has enough of it.

Finally, the award for most tense city goes to Lehi. Nestled in the heart of Silicon Slopes, its tech-centric population is glued to their devices, coding away as they eye the next big startup opportunity.

So there you have it from zen-like Moab to the tech-twitchy streets of Lehi, your list of Utah cities by relaxation.
