There’s a new favorite dog in the beehive state according to Newsweek. They show the most popular breed for each state and for 2024 Utah is choosing the golden doodle. This is a mix of golden retriever and a poodle. 

These are great family dogs, and this may be why they are popular in Utah. They are super loving and need to be around people. They don’t shed much or not at all depending on the mix. Plus, they look good and come in all sizes. 

High Energy, Need Attention, and Must be Groomed 

Here’s some traits of the golden doodle if you feel like you want one. They are active dogs and will need exercise especially when they are young. Plan to give them a good walk or time at the park chasing a ball at least once a day.
