Chapter 5 Solomon Installment 27
Their mother was relieved but unsettled by her children. She decided she would definitely call the principal later and look into those classes for Jonathan, and probably for Solomon as well when his turn came. She loaded up both her sons in the backseat of her car and instructed the nanny to follow her to the school so she could take Solomon home after she dropped Jonathan off.

The boys rode in silence, arm in arm. When they pulled up to the curb in front of the school, the two looked at each other, and after a moment Jonathan got out of the car and followed his mother through the front doors to meet his teacher.

What Was That Last Group?
They walked down the hall and into his kindergarten class. The room had a brightly colored carpet with letters and number patterns all over it. There were four tables, each with a poster with a bug pictured on it. One had a butterfly that said, “The Bright Butterflies”, while another showed a bee with “The Busy Bees.” The third had an ant lifting a heavy rock that said, “The Strong Ants” and the last showed a snail that said, “The Growing Gastropods.”
His teacher greeted him, “Hello what is your name?”
“Jonathan,” he quietly replied.
“Welcome Jonathan. I’m Miss Winn.”
