Scheduled for June 7th at Eccles Coliseum, Southern Utah University will host the grand Opening Ceremony, Presented by State Bank of Southern Utah, featuring country music sensation Morgan Evans as the headline act.

This year marks a special milestone as the event celebrates the 40th anniversary of the  1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, which served as the inspiration behind the Utah Summer Games. Jon Oglesby, Executive Director of the Larry H. Miller Utah Summer Games, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “We are so excited to welcome the entire state of Utah to Cedar City for one of Utah’s favorite summer traditions.”
