Succubus Strangely Succumbs To A Teachers Anger in Dave’s Book

Interesting Reaction to an Intended Curse
Succubus truly is a different kind of student. Fascinated with power, he is determined to learn even as he is the focus of Borgis ire. Is this more evidence that Succubus is the prophesied chosen one? Dave has written a 3 book fantasy series called “The Demon Curse” that discusses life in the underworld including their classrooms.

Chapter 6 A Painful Lesson Learned Installment 33
Standing, Borgin walked to where Succubus sat, still slowly working. He had barely begun to solve the exceptionally long problem on the ground before him.
Borgin paused, looking down at the numbers written in chalk, then stepped right in the middle smearing the equation as he stepped out. “Your work is a mess,” he sneered.

Succubus looked down at his calculations with the smudge in the middle. He looked back at Borgin and said, “I didn’t realize my answer had to include feet.” His face was innocent, but behind his voice was an edge of sarcasm.
The other demons shifted uncomfortably. Ghamegis and Ipses scooted further back.

Borgin felt the anger rise and burn inside him. He thought it was time for this swaggering novice to learn a lesson.
“You think to mock me Bloodsmack?”
An Impromptu Cursed Lesson
Deciding it was time to give an impromptu demonstration in cursing, Borgin raised his hand and, feeling the heated air around him, sensed the energy and gathered it. Then, he willed the molecules to slow and become more compact over the neck of his obstinate student. The resulting density made the air heavier and by pressing his will down, he forced the younger demon’s head to bow.
As his head lowered due to the pressure, Succubus broke eye contact, but began to smile, still holding his head from fully slumping.
The instructor felt his blood boil over. Infuriated, his vision turned red and this time he willed the air to expand above the demon, causing the denser air beneath Succubus to rush upward into the vacuum. This raised Succubus several feet off the ground. The air made a rushing sound and the other students slid to the sides as their fellow pupil floated up over their heads.
Succubus was at once dreading his current circumstance and fascinated by it.
