“Can’t Breathe”, is the Utah Nevada Pollen Count High Right Now?
Have you been having trouble with allergies early this year? It seems like many people around me are suffering more than other years. It is odd because we are still early in the season for pollen to be released.
I have been perusing the weather channel websites looking for any reason why so many of us seem to be suffering from allergic type responses.
Tree pollen is low, grass and ragweed are currently not an issue and then it struck me, our area might be affected by the wind born effects of this years California fires.
A little research and I discovered that not only are those suffering seem to be earlier in the season, but their symptoms seem a little different than usual. I personally have been getting skin irritation. Having been diagnosed with Eczema in the past, I found it interesting that fire aftermath can trigger issues with eczema.
If you are struggling right now and not sure why, this insight might help you zone in on the problem. This year has been different because we didn’t get that haze of smoke like we have in past fire season years, but maybe that is why it hasn’t hit the radar as to why the irritations.
Maybe Utah and Nevada are being hammered by less visible air born fire residue. Now this might border on the edge of conspiracy theory since I don’t have hard evidence, so if you fancy a better conspiracy theory how about this one: It’s the government man, they’re feeling our air with irritants to keep us from thinking clearly. Of course that theory came from someone who was personally filling his air with something and confused about a lot of other side effects.
