McDonald’s global revenue has declined due to international boycotts. This downturn was partly triggered by a franchisee in Israel who expressed support for Israel on behalf of McDonald’s. Additionally, there have been other politically charged discussions about the company supporting one side or the other in various conflicts.

We won’t delve into the numerous accusations and counterpoints, but it is interesting to note that sales in the United States, including in Utah, were up. Some even say this increase was significant enough to stabilize the company despite its global sales plummeting.
