See the Obnoxious Attitudes That Make Utahns Seem Snobby to Others
Are you coming off as snobby to your neighbors and friends? Nobody wants to be perceived as someone who looks down on others. Here is some snobbery you may not realize comes off as condescending.
The Effects of Charter School and Home School
Every parent cares about their kids and wants the best for them. Even if they are thriving and learning good things, you might feel like a bad parent because your kid attends public school when you are around those who have chosen other options.
Just remember your pride in your kids' accomplishments can send the wrong vibe if you aren’t careful.
Looking Down on Tourists Visiting the Beehive State
If you live around any of the many National Parks in Utah, it can be easy to look down on the people visiting. This is ironic since the state benefits from these visitors' dollars spent while here.
We all vacation and visit other places. Being friendly and helpful even when tourists fill up the parks and restaurants, will bring good karma when you head out of town.
Frustration Over Growth and Home Prices
With so many people moving into the beehive state and making housing scarce, it is tempting to put up a gate to keep people out. This attitude of "Utah belongs only to those already here" can feel off putting.
Nobody likes to see things change and get more expensive. Treating others like they are dirtying your beautiful state, smacks of snobbiness.

There are many more examples I’m sure you can think of. Basically, letting something you are passionate about morph into a sense of superiority is not a good look.
It's like if you are educated and constantly correcting other’s grammar, it comes off as condescending. And you just might be a snob.
