I am having to type this fast, so please forgive any errors in the text.

It's because my wife started getting ready to go to Arby's the second she heard this news. They have brought back a favorite menu item, especially in our home.

Yes, honey, I am sure. They announced it right here.

Don't pull on me. The sooner I can finish this article, the faster we can get to Arby's.

I don't know why restaurants get rid of a menu item we have grown to love. I am sure they have their reasons, but top on the list has got to be to make life hard on the spouses of those who love said menu item.

But, yeah, potato cakes are now back at Arby's. Here is the huge sad news: they will only be here for a limited time. That is another thing I don't understand. I mean, some restaurants are struggling to find something universally loved. You have one, and you play the availability game just like you play with our hearts.

Now she is in the car honking. Wait, did she put on a t-shirt that said, "Potato cakes are better than birthday cakes?"

Anyway, I am super happy they are back and hope that the limited time gets such a response that they realize the error of their ways and add potato cakes back permanently. I mean, come on, they are crispy little hash brown cakes, easy to eat, easy to become obsessed over. I think she might be a part of the order in the above video.
