Compared to Other States, Utah Has Polite Children 

A survey of residents in different cities were asked to rate kids in their area according to how rude they thought they were. This includes several categories of rude behavior including cursing, disobeying rules, and being absorbed by their phones. 

It turns out kids in Utah didn’t even make the list. There is so much politeness happening in the beehive state, they didn’t even bother asking. This was true of many of the mountain states and much of the south. 

There Are Rude Kids Just Across the Border 

If you hear some rude yelling coming across the border, it is because the state ranked #4 for rude kids is Nevada. Arizona comes in at #24 and Colorado is at #20. I’m sure their parents are looking longingly at Utah and wondering why their kids can’t learn from their neighbors. 

Here’s more bad news. The state that is sending many residents to our state came in at number two on the list. This is California and it is specifically the kids in San Francisco. Even worse the Sunshine State a total of four cities on the list.

I do think kids in Utah are for the most part pretty well behaved. Maybe I’m have my head in the sand, but I find the children here respectful and pleasant. If you witness any bad behavior in your neighborhood or around town, I would look for out of state plates.
