Innovative Rope Tow Fits in a Backpack And Makes Any Utah Slope a Resort
If you ski or snowboard in Utah, you know there are some amazing resorts with the best snow on earth. You have probably gazed up at the steep mountains after a big snowstorm and thought how nice it would be to cut a trail through that new powder.
See the Tow Rope That Fits in a Backpack
A company from Canada named Zoe Engineering has made a device that can pull you up a snow hill and save you from hiking or hiring a snow mobile. The PL1 is battery operated and uses a parachute chord to pull you up the slope.
You do have to hike the hill the first time to anchor the rope in the snow, but after that, the 8-pound device attaches to the rope and pulls you up. You then place it in the backpack and ski or snowboard down the hill with it.
They have been refining the product for a couple years to get it to the point it is now. It will run you close to $2500. They have plans to make it lighter and more affordable in the future.
Rope Tow for Your Home
If you have land in Utah with a hill on it that might be good for a terrain park or a good tubing hill, a company that makes tow ropes for resorts has a simpler and more affordable option for homeowners.
The Towpro might be just the thing for outings at the family cabin. It is portable and easy to set up. This is going to be more of an investment with the backyard version running $10,500. Still, it would enhance a cabin for far less than a 4-wheeler.
