Not every National Park can be as popular to photograph as the Grand Canyon, but you would hope a place set apart for its natural beauty would have something worth snapping a picture of. In Utah, this National Park doesn't get much love.

The Most Photographed National Parks in the U.S.

Popsa did some research to find the National Parks that were the most photographed in the United States. It is no surprise that when it comes to people taking pictures, nothing beats the Grand Canyon.

The view is so expansive your phone starts taking pictures even before you can pull it from your pocket. The next five are about what you would expect, Yellowstone, Yosemite, then Utah's heavy weights Zion and Bryce.

The Disparity Between Photographed National Parks Is Big

Arches is the 7th most photographed park and then you get Utah's ugly step sisters. Canyonlands seems sort of respectable at number 20 but only 11 people snapped a photo for every 100 people who took one of the Grand Canyon.

Capitol Reef was even worse coming in at 24 and only 9 people found something that might be worth pulling their phone from their pocket. Still, that is far more than parks 57 through 64 that they couldn't find anyone who took a single picture of those places.

If I were in charge of Congaree National Park in South Carolina, I might be tempted to put a scenic vista of the Grand Canyon in the visitors center just to encourage people to pull out their camera.
