Job security in Utah seems more precarious than ever as the economy seems uncertain, and AI becomes more prominent.

AI has been making headlines since last month as Amazon’s Andy Jassy announced layoffs related to AI. Ford has also joined in saying that white-collar jobs are going to become obsolete soon. There isn’t any evidence of this, but it is a scary idea.

Is AI Going to Take Away Jobs?

AI has become more of an everyday usage with gadgets like Alexa, smartphones, and even Google’s search engine. It's hard NOT to use AI, however this is impacting workers' peace of mind for job security.

Companies like Meta have been cutting jobs for several years and “replacing” them with AI while hiring in more strategic job areas that AI can’t do...yet.

As companies are vying to either create their own AI software or grab the best one, workers are left in uncertain times. The truth is that AI isn’t directly responsible for “taking job” however, it is playing a role in job loss along with the rocky economy and rising prices of everyday goods.
