Going for a drive through Utah is always a beautiful experience and there are seven iconic drives that everyone should take at least once.  

The weather is heating up in the Beehive state and the flora and fauna are making an appearance. This makes for beautiful scenery (and allergies) in just about every part of Utah.  

Utah Elevated has a list of seven drives that you should consider making the time to do. State and National Parks will be your guides.  

St. George to Cedar Breaks

Starting in the desert region of Utah, you can view Snow Canyon State Park and then make your way to Kolob Canyons. You can finish the drive off with a sunset view of the red rocks of Cedar Breaks National Monument.  

Panguitch to Bryce Canyon

Part of the All-American Scenic Byway 12, check out the arch tunnels by Red Canyon. There is hiking and biking available at Bryce Canyon during the day and at night beautiful starry skies.  

Kodachrome Basin to Boulder

Awesome geology and natural structures make up this trip. Kodachrome Basin State Park is just one of Utah’s many spectacular places. There is also evidence of early travelers there for any history nerds.  

Capitol Reef to Arches

Capitol Reef National Park is known for its views and orchards which you can pick fruit from when it's in season. You can continue and drive by the Fremont River to Goblin Valley to check out the cool arches.  

Canyonlands to Natural Bridges

Filled with scenic roads, and overlooks, Canyonlands is a must-see. There is hiking and biking with views of the Colorado and Green rivers. Head over to Natural Bridges to get the Dark Sky experience at night. 

Monument Valley to Lake Powell

Take a jeep tour through Monument Valley or even a guided drive. To get out of the car, hop on a boat and go to Lake Powell. It is fun in the warmer months, plus there is a store and restaurant on the docks.  

Kanab to ZNP

Check out the small town of Kanab with its tiny town charm. Dive through it and head to the world-famous Zion National Park. Then, drive through and visit the Narrows!
