Utah Caniacs! Raising Cane’s is EXPANDING in 2026
Fried chicken can start a war.
If you bring up fried chicken at a family event or on a text thread, be ready to never talk to those people again.
You'll have people saying "It's Chick fil-A and Cane's is only good because of the sauce, the chicken is subpar!"
You'll have others saying that Popeye's is the best and still others that will swear that KFC is still king.

More recently, there have been more and more Raising Cane's (Caniacs) in Utah perhaps because of how rare it is to have a Cane's in your town.
There are 11 total Raising Cane's in the Beehive State, and it's not nearly enough.
Raising Cane's Planning Huge Expansion
According to FoxBusiness.com (LINK TO FULL ARTICLE):
"This year, Raising Cane’s has launched over 20 new locations across America as of the first quarter "with plans to open nearly 100 new restaurants across several new markets in 2025 by year’s end," the Raising Cane’s spokesperson said."

"In 2026, Raising Cane’s will continue its growth in both new and existing Communities with nearly 100 new Restaurants planned to open nationwide...at any given time, we have about 300 Restaurants at various stages in our development pipeline and are continually evaluating sites all over the world to achieve our goal of operating 1,600+ restaurants and becoming a Top 10 US Restaurant Brand."
This is great news. We don't know how many of those 100 new restaurants are planned in Utah, we just pray we get a handful more!
And if you're one of these people that says Cane's is only good because of the sauce, that's fine! We love you too.
