WHO?! This Southern Utah Town Is A Real Estate Hot Spot!
A tiny Southern Utah town has been named one of the MOST COMPETITIVE places in Utah to sell your home. This is from a study done by Redfin.com. The study takes in to account a few things.
- How fast homes are selling.
- If they're receiving multiple offers.
- if they're waiving contingencies.
- How many offers the homes are receiving.
- The Sale-To-List Ratio
The top cities that are the "Most Competitive" in Utah are listed below. Every city on the list BESIDES ONE are all located in Northern Utah.
- White City, UT

The average sale price for homes in La Verkin is $481,000, and these homes are only staying on the market for 29 days. Yeah! Under a month and people are CASHING OUT! Is it because Southern Utah is booming? Is it because Hurricane is growing like crazy? Is it because the close proximity to Zion National Park? Or maybe it's ALL those reasons! But if you have a home in La Verkin, you could be cashing out for TONS of money!
Utahns FREAKED OUT Over Possible Super Volcano In California!
California is a place with tons of natural beauty. With that natural beauty comes a ton of natural danger. The San Andreas Fault is a huge fault line that, if a big enough earthquake happens, can propel half of California into the ocean, skyrocketing the price of now beachfront property in Victorville. One thing we don't hear a lot about, however, is a Super Volcano. That's right... A SUPER. VOLCANO. GUYS!
According to Mirror.co.uk,
“At a sprawling 20 miles long, 11 miles wide and 3,000 feet deep the Long Valley Caldera, California, has struck fear into researchers for years. Due to its enormity, it is classed as one of the world's 20 known super volcanoes, with a classification of VEI 8 on the eruption scale.”
Volcanologists are concerned that this thing could blow in the near future... and it's DUE. It hasn't blown in over 750,000 years!
WHY ARE PEOPLE FREAKED OUT?
The size of this thing is massive. It's so big that if it were to blow, there's not much that really ANY crisis management could even do. We wouldn't be looking at THOUSANDS of lives gone... We would be looking at MILLIONS of lives gone. If this thing does look like it's going to bust, I imagine anyone within 1,000 miles AT LEAST will be in danger. Not only from lava, but from the ash and debris that will be up in our atmosphere. Maybe your crazy uncle that has a bunker in his back yard isn't so crazy after all...
