This chilly weather can definitely make you feel a little cooped up. It's funny—when it's blazing hot outside, I always think, "As soon as this heatwave lets up, I'm going to get out there and enjoy the great outdoors." But then, when the cold finally hits (even though it's nothing compared to what our northern neighbors endure), I just want to cozy up inside and not go out. Of course, that cozy feeling eventually turns into a case of cabin fever.

You’ve probably passed it on the freeway or maybe visited the northern location, but if you haven’t, you should definitely check out the Bass Pro Shop just off I-15 in Las Vegas. It’s the perfect little escape, and you can literally get there and back in a day.
Entry is free, and my family and I went the other day and were amazed at the Las Vegas location's décor.

If you enjoy the outdoors, you will love the selection of products too. I mean look at their lineup of fishing rods, plus with the fish overhead you feel like you are shopping under water.
So yeah, it’s a store, but mentally it is an outdoor cruise in the cozy indoors that your family will love, and you could still be back home in time for dinner.
