Skilled Drivers Needed 

Some of us are better drivers than others. I’m not talking about safe drivers or people who never get tickets, I’m talking about people who have a feel for the vehicle and the road and could drive racecars if given the chance. 

When I lived in the bay area of California, a friend and I would drive to Santa Cruz on the coast. It was about a 40-minute drive on a winding freeway that he would do in about 25 minutes. You probably think I was holding to the “Osh” bar praying for my life, but I wasn’t. He drove so well if felt totally safe.

Delivering gasoline and other hazardous chemicals requires a steady and dependable driver at the wheel. The danger of driving caustic chemicals will increase your pay if you are good at it. 

Crane Operator/Heavy Equipment Operator 85k – 95k 

Big construction machines need someone who knows what they are doing. The potential for disaster increases the need for a skilled operator. With experience and ability, you can get a high wage to move these giant machines. 

So, if you have a kid that tears around the neighborhood like a NASCAR driver and yet doesn’t scare the people on the sidewalks, they may do well at a driving career. Especially if they use their school text books to build jumps.
