Which movies have you seen more than 5 times?
Most of us are OK with watching TV reruns of The Big Bang Theory, Mom, Two and a Half Men and a few others. I scream when Dateline or 20/20 is a rerun because if you already know "who done it", the show loses something. Lately Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon and on some nights, Stephen Colbert will rerun previous shows and it bugs me. I arrogantly say, “Show up for work!” Why do they always take Fridays off? (I know. It's because they can). When it comes to watching something you’ve already seen, movies are a different story. I talked with people around Southern Utah and found a half dozen different lists of things like the “Top 25 movies people have seen more than 5 times” and one was a list of the Top 31 movies people have seen multiple times. Let’s see if your favorites are on here as I combine a few of these lists.
Top of the list of movies people have seen over and over, I found La La Land, Back to the Future, Jaws and Alien. Those are followed closely by Jurassic Park, The Social Network, Die Hard, Gravity and Ground Hog Day. Heath Ledger in A Knights Tale was big on a few lists along with Batman Begins.
I liked the original Jumanji and for some of the purists, that’s where the franchise should have ended. Robin Williams made almost everything good so I was scared to watch the reboot with The Rock and Kevin Hart. LOVED it. Better than the original and I never say that. I hated the sequel to that and wish they’d stopped at one reboot.
Armageddon, A few Good Men and ALL of the Avengers movies are hard to walk away from when they’re on. Gladiator and Toy Story are big hits for replays too. How about you? What movies will you watch again and which movies would you put on the forbidden list to never EVER see again?
