What! Utah is #2 on the list for this?
Utah is on the top 5 list for egg production.
A semi truck overturned recently spilling forty-three-thousand pounds of powdered eggs onto a Nashville, Tennessee highway. Thankfully there were no injuries and they have been pretty successful with clean up on aisle I-24. However, here is the question on everyone's mind, "How many of those eggs came from Utah chickens?
Why this particular question? Because Utah is a big egg producer, well to be fair I guess I should say that Utah chickens are big egg producers.
Some of the hens nearby just gave me look of disgust. I don't mean big eggs, I mean the number of eggs ladies. Jeez, so sensitive.
Here is the list of the states that produced the most eggs in 2023.
Kentucky.1.4 Billion.
Washington.1.74 Billion.
New York. 1.75 Billion.
Utah. 1.86 Billion.
Illinois. 1.88 Billion.
I did not know Utah was on the list of top egg producers. Did you know Utah was #2 on the list for what the chickens do that reminds some less mature people of the number #2?
Wow the hens didn't like that thought either. I said less mature people. Well, I apologize again.
To be fair the truck spilled forty-three-thousand pounds of powdered eggs and I don't know what state is the highest producer of powdered eggs. I guess you would look for powder chicken farms to get that information, but as far as fresh eggs that is a nice position on the pecking order. Oops that was offensive to chickens. I meant to say that is a nice accomplishment, way to go chickens of Utah.
