Could Limiting Bills In Utah Lead Us To A Simpler Life?
Utah representative, Clint Okerlund would like to limit the number of bills each state legislator can file in a 45-day session. His concern is that the record number of bills that they have seen causes rushed debate and can send a low-priority message about the bills.

I can see his point and with his argument in mind I think we might need to think of limiting some other Utah services.
Restaurant Menus That Rival "Tale of Two Cities" in Page Count
If your menu requires a bookmark, a table of contents, and a spiritual guide to navigate the cheesecake section, it’s time to scale back. Limit: 12 items, max. If your menu is so long that I am hangry after reading no matter what time of day I started, it's too big.
“Utah Dad” Hats Per Household
You know the ones: mesh back, ironic slogan, probably says “Grill Sergeant” or “I’m not arguing, I’m just explaining why I’m right.” Limit: 3 per household. One for football attendance, one for yard work, one for passive-aggressive family reunions.
️Instagram Posts About Hiking a Utah Peak
We get it. You conquered the mountain. You saw a squirrel. You ate a granola bar with spiritual intent. Limit: 1 post per summit, and no more than 2 squirrel selfies per season.
Costco Samples Consumed in One Visit
Utahns treat Costco like a progressive dinner party. But if I am in line behind you and it is your thirds when I'm just trying to get my respectable seconds, it’s time to cap it. Limit: 4 samples per visit, unless you're wearing a disguise.
Songs per school Choir Concert
There’s a fine line between supporting our children and going to a professional concert. Especially during the holidays when it is time to share remember that we only know about .01 percent of the performers and even their cuteness wears thin after several songs. Limit: 2 songs per school choir. Bonus points if you pick songs that don't repeat, I'm looking at your 12 days of Christmas remastered into a Halloween song, Thanksgiving song and spoof on the Holidays song.
