There are many hot springs in Utah some are smellier than others. The sulfur that is mixed in the water dissolves from the surrounding rock and is almost decadent in its toiletness. Your kids will find it fascinating and disgusting.

There are some nice natural hot springs you can visit like the Zion Canyon Hot Springs in Southern Utah. These are clean and resort like pools where you can take a dip in one of the naturally heated pools.

However, if you really want a memory, take your kids to a free version with the appropriately named "Stinky Hot Springs". This is located in northern Utah and there is nothing glamorous about these pools.

They are square pools with some old carpet to walk on leading up to the heated water. There's some algae in the water, but otherwise it is clean, though I wouldn't put your head in it. It is on private land so be respectful.
