Revealing: Utahns Spend This Much Per Minute In Costco
How Much Do You Spend Per Minute in Costco?
The New York Post shared this info from Instagram about how much time and money the average person spends when they make a trip to Costco. They say 37 minutes is how long the average person spends each visit.
This may be true on a weekday, but a Saturday at the local Costco, it can take that long to get a cart and find your way to the toilet paper. Just waiting for the good samples will kill a half hour easy.
According to the post, the average person spends $64.75 when they visit which comes out to $1.75 per minute. I wish that were true. What used to be the $100 per hour store is now double that for me. If I’m there for over an hour, I’m laying down a couple Franklins.
What Each State Buys the Most
Yahoo looked at the item each state purchases most often. Colorado is all about the maple syrup. They must really like breakfast. New Mexico buys leggings and Nevada is buying salt. Fitness clothing and something to season meat with seems impressive.
So, what is Utah buying up? The beehive state is interested in the big pack of Kirkland Diapers. I should have seen that coming. Useful, but in no way glamorous. At least we aren’t North Dakota who is there to buy the $1.50 hotdog.

Costco has me figured out. Entice me to walk in for cheap food and free samples and watch me walk out with a cart overflowing with “good deals” that caught my eye as I was wandering around. I'm definitely upping the average.
