Utah Can’t Get Over THIS Painful TV Breakup

Utah has a fictional couple whose breakup just can’t be understood or even feasible, which is why the beehive state searches for it the most.  

The state is pretty avid at watching television and that means that some of us become a bit attached to certain characters. Ships sail hard or rather shipping which is also a term used when you want two people together.  

Utah’s biggest “ship” is Damon and Elena from The Vampire Diaries according to data from Clash.gg, a gambling website. Clash.gg analyzed online searches from each state with “breakup-related terms and couple names”.  

On average, Utahns search up Damon and Elena at 3.99 searches per 100,000 residents a month. Honestly, I get it. They really are one of the best television couples and even though the show is old, it’s still pretty good.  

In the U.S., the most looked up television couple is Callie and Arizona from the show Grey’s Anatomy. The monthly search is about 1,639.09 searches in the U.S. The couple’s breakup was a bit shocking and then everything that followed was certainly worthy of the drama show.  

The second most searched television couple goes to Nick and Jess from New Girl with just under 800 searches a month. I totally get this one too because Nick and Jess are MY favorite television couple. I ship them hard.  

Maine cares the most about Nick and Jess’s breakup with an average search of 16.35 per 100,000 residents, Clash.gg said.  

So, Utah it sounds like it's time to rewatch The Vampire Diaries and I think that is a great way to spend some of Thanksgiving break.
