Great Reasons Southern Utah Should Host A Corgi Fest

Utah is a dog-loving state and Southern Utah is a hub for dog lovers but, where are all the corgi people? 

The truth is that there are several corgi owners in Southern Utah, I’ve seen them while driving around. I am a corgi owner and think Southern Utah is the perfect place to host a corgi race and get together.  

Pennsylvania has a super cool event known as Corgi Fest in August that includes corgi races, costume contests, food trucks, games and more. Heck, Illinois has one too!  

This would be the perfect way for Utah corgi lovers to meet and have a fun time with their pets.  

Corgis are such a loveable breed of dog, and the “races” are absolutely hilarious with the dogs running into each other. Southern Utah is the perfect place for a family friendly event like this and there are a ton of parks that would fit the event.  

With the weather being so hot most of the Summer and Fall, the event would need to be held in Spring or early Winter.  

Now, I can’t convince you that this is a good idea but if you watch some corgi race videos online, I’m sure you’ll agree that it could be a fantastic time. Kids would get a kick out of seeing corgis race in a very derpy fashion. 

Plus, who doesn’t want to see a bunch of dogs all dressed up in costume in one place?
