Election Results Spark 4B Movement In Utah And U.S.
Utah being a primarily red state, needs to know about the 4B movement and how it might impact young relationships.
This week, Former President Donald Trump won re-election and will once again enter office. However, just because the election is over doesn’t mean that there aren’t those still taking a stand in their own way.
Since the announcement there have been several Republican supporters making comments like “your body, my choice” on social media. This was inspired by white nationalist podcaster Nick Fuentes who wrote “Your body, my choice. Forever” on X after the election results.
With that in mind, women across the country have been vowing to participate in the 4B movement.
What is the 4B movement?
From South Korea, the movement is a woman's way to push back against the gender inequality and swears off men, CBS News said. The meaning behind the “B” is that there are four rules starting with “Bi” in South Korea that mean no.
No dating men, no having sexual relations with men, no heterosexual marriage, and no having children.
Basically, this is a strike and with concerns over abortion bans and healthcare for women, it shouldn’t come as a surprise.
So, what does this have to do with Utah?
Well, the majority of the state is red except a few places like Salt Lake City. Which means that a lot of the young men who voted red could be in for a surprise when it comes to the dating game. No more hookups, no more relationships, etc.
They may find it harder to find a date and though politics used to be one of the last things you mentioned when meeting someone, it has now come to the forefront of red or green flags.
