A Summer of Music Continues in Cedar City
Cedar City will be hosting another music festival. Fresh off the heels of the annual Iron County Acoustic Music Association Music in the Park Festival, the Crossroads Music Festival will take place June 16th and 17th.
The Crossroads Music Festival will be set up at the Southern Utah University Library Quad from 7 pm to 8 pm on Friday with a few hours full of world music and percussion. The performers for Friday include Red Rock Percussion Group and Samba Fogo.
Saturday’s events include live music and Family Day starting at 10:30 am at the Southern Utah Museum of Art and a parade moving from the Southern Utah Museum of Art to the nearby Johnson Center for an instrument petting zoo. Music begins again Saturday night at 7 pm at the Southern Utah University Library Quad. Live world music and percussion continue Saturday night with performers Red Rock Percussion Group and Heartland Marimba Quartet.
