A Hidden Gem Just Within Cedar City Limits

If you are a hiker or just outdoorsy in general, Cedar City has plenty to offer. One of the things Cedar City has to offer is the Thunderbird Garden Trailhead. 

Not long ago, I told you about the Red Hollow Trailhead which is part of the Thunderbird Canyons Trail System. The Thunderbird Gardens Trailhead is also a part of the 12+ mile trail system. 

The Thunderbird Gardens Trailhead has mountain bike trails, hiking, and an 18-hole disc golf course.  

The Thunderbird Gardens Trailhead is accessed by taking a dirt road behind Cedar Ridge Golf Course. 

Everything the Thunderbird Gardens Trailhead has to offer is located among red rock views, green trees, and sandy trails. 

If you plan to visit the Thunderbird Gardens Trailhead, bring plenty of water, a hat, shoes made for hiking, and sunscreen. 

While you're there, be sure to say hello to the little residents of the trailhead who stop by for a visit.
